Description of problem:
We are trying to broadcast on Facebook. A few years ago we were able to do this without any problem. We get an error message when attempting to send a report through Support Assistant.
We have the latest version of Chrome. We are using Wirecast 6.0.8 and have changed the output settings to the recommended rtmps://live-api-s.facebook.com:443/rtmp/ and copied the stream key. When we authenticate for Facebook and return to Wirecast's output settings, the program crashes with a window that pops up and says: 'Fatal Application Exit-An unhandled exception occurred.' When we click the Stream button, we get a window that says 'An unknown error occurred when starting the export process. Emoji 2 1 1. The error code generated was -4024. The output is RTMP Server: RTMP Server.' We have changed settings in Chrome to allow our cameras, but the only one that Facebook will recognize is the Logitech which is connected by USB and does not go through Wirecast to broadcast. The other 3 are not being recognized; they cannot be added to the list of cameras allowed. It appears that only 1 camera is allowed. The other 3 cameras are all connected directly into our 64-bit very powerful computer. We have also tried downloading the newest free trial version of Wirecast and had the same problems.
How do we get a 'Persistent Stream Key' so that we can use the same number whenever we stream? Can we, in fact, use all 4 cameras for different shots on Facebook? Do we need to have the RTMP destination AND add Facebook as a separate destination? What setting should the User Agent be on? What other settings could be the problem?
